A Mothers Love

It's been awhile since I last posted something here. Between being in two locations now (Southlake, Texas now), it's been certainly fast-paced for me.

My neice had her little girl a few weeks earlier than expected, but everything is going fine. Hopefully I'll have more posted later today or tomorrow!

Early Arrival

Easter is just around the corner and I'm packing up and relocating (through Easter) to Southlake, Texas. The idea of the bird nest has really caught on. I need to get some "behind the scenes" shots so you can understand what goes into capturing an image like this.

Peter Cotton Tail?

I'm very excited about the new Easter set that I've been building. This image of Logan is a new addition to the already growing set. I think everyone will enjoy the images that come out during the next few weeks.

My sister recently had her little girl, Aliciana. This portrait was captured the day before she went to the hospital for her delivery...

Beautiful Baby

Did I mention on the last entry that there are alot of pregnancies happening right now? My schedule is booking up with more maternity and new borns daily - which is awesome.

It's getting close for Easter portraits now...be looking for those coming soon too!

Baby Boom?

The past month or so it seems that I'm being asked about maternity portraits. It's funny, I have some close friends that I joked with about everyone seemed to be pregnant...
A couple of days later they announced she was now pregnant (what friends will do for free portraits, lol)...

Here's a great image of Lane. I have been capturing his first year portraits for his family. This came from his 6 month appointment. He's getting big and starting to move on his own. I'm sure next month he'll be all over the studio without any help.

I ran across this portrait of the '08-'09 Bowie girls varsity basketball team. This was an exciting shoot, and the girls played it up well.

I enjoy thinking and working outside of the average session. Everyone enjoys and wants something different, and I know this one is certainly not run of the mill...

I've got so much to post and share, but I'll stretch them out over the next few days. Have a great weekend!

Here's a portrait from earlier today in the studio. This session was shot for an ad campaign that will run early summer. I had some fun with my client and gave him some tats to see if he liked them before he went out and got them done...

I'm thinking about starting a virtual tattoo parlor...

Best of both worlds. You have your tat captured on your body without the pain of the needle. We'll see if that takes off or not...lol
